RESTOCKING — NEW BATCH IN PRODUCTION

SUN GLASSES

Kids’ sunglasses do a real job: children’s eyes admit more UV than adult eyes, and damage is cumulative. This range pairs UV-protective lenses with flexible, child-proof frames sized for small faces —protection that survives being sat on, thrown and chewed.

Buying guide

UV rating is non-negotiable

Look for UV400 / 100% UVA-UVB marked lenses —dark tint without UV filtering is worse than no glasses, because dilated pupils admit more unfiltered light. Category 3 lenses suit bright Indian sun.

Frames must out-tough the child

Flexible rubber or TR90-style frames bend without snapping and leave no sharp edges when they finally do fail. For babies and toddlers, a soft elastic strapkeeps glasses on and off the ground.

Fit check

Lenses should cover the eyes fully without touching lashes, and arms shouldn’t press behind the ears. If it pinches, it stays in the bag —comfort is what makes a child actually wear them.

When they matter most

Beach trips, hill-station sun, long car rides and any outdoor time between 10am and 4pm. Pair with a hat for genuinely effective coverage.

FAQ

Do babies really need sunglasses?

In bright outdoor sun, yes —children’s lenses filter less UV than adults’, and exposure accumulates over a lifetime. Shade, hats and UV400 glasses together give real protection.

What does UV400 mean?

The lens blocks wavelengths up to 400 nanometres —effectively 100% of UVA and UVB. It’s the minimum standard worth buying for a child.

Are dark lenses without UV protection okay?

No —they’re worse than nothing. Dark tint dilates pupils, letting more unfiltered UV reach the eye. Always confirm the UV rating, not the tint.

How do I keep sunglasses on a toddler?

Choose flexible frames with an elastic head strap, introduce them during fun activities, and wear yours —toddlers copy. Expect a settling-in week.

We select kids’ eyewear on two hard criteria —verified UV400 lenses and frames that survive toddler treatment.
